Because even in times of peace, Serafew was still guarded closely by Grado soldiers. She had heard that the Grado king was currently a very laid-back man, but even he knew better than to ease up protection at Fort Judd. Not out of distrust for Renais, but more for the tension the people felt for the young king already. Well, relatively speaking. At least, the people here expressed that they felt some tension.
It wasn't the fun-loving childish Ealisaid who sat in the grass outside of the fort now, but her more negative half. "rEli" as her annoying friends would call her, was the one who was in control right now. Ealisaid typically wasn't found outside of Carcino, as she worked a steady job there and lived there now. However, when a package had gone missing her employer asked her to find it, and her search brought her to Grado.
The female manakete sneered at the thought of a such careless and incompetent species. Unlike Ealisaid's more positive personality, "bEli" as her friends called her, rEli had little curiosity for humans other than why they were so incredibly daft. She had never known a species to make trouble for themselves and then find themselves lost as to how to fix it. It was incredibly annoying. But, the fact they were surviving was a curious thing, and so rEli tolerated bEli's curiosity and allowed the girl to satisfy it.
Even by doing menial tasks such as this.
She fought off boredom by running through theories on who the thief was, leaning back on her arms and staring into the sky with a listless expression. Red Ealisaid even wondered if there was a thief to begin with, maybe the customer simply misplaced the package? May their precious Divine Light help them if that ends up being the case. Although it couldn't be...the chase had given her a direction. Surely there must be something to chase for that to happen? Ealisaid continued to debate this, but even these thoughts were not enough to fight her increasing drowsiness.
And it was still early afternoon. [/style][STYLE=background: #85888A; width: px; margin-left: 155px; font-size: 19px; WIDTH: 301PX; font-family: georgia; border-top: 4px #A43430 solid; text-align: center]MADE BY EXI OF BTN[/style]
