A Carcino Councilman, he is young still considering the human life span, however he is at a mature and ripe age for this kind of duty. His people trust his age, which is that of mid-thirties. He has openly declared himself to be Demetrio's rival, both politically and in the other business of the factions, the military and gang side of it. Cain is a ruthless man, who has no problems killing off a rival. However, he prefers not to. Not because he has any value in human life, but because he prefers to make his enemies suffer. His favorite way of doing that is by slowly destroying the ones his enemy loves and then killing his enemy. Its hard to imagine that he might ever have feelings for anyone or anything, his harsh words and constant sarcasm and his mannerisms hint to other things. However, he is protective of his faction and his people, and is actually a very good orator. If anyone ever messed with any one of the members of his faction, especially the girl members, he would personally see to their demise. Hiat is a quiet individual, with a much more discrete form of sarcasm. You probably wouldn't even know he was insulting you until later. Hiat also works as a librarian, and so he deals with Missy a lot. Despite Cain's own brilliance, Hiat always puts in his two cents, regardless of whether or not his boss asked him. He isn't afraid of Cain, which is why their bond is so strong. Hiat enjoys intimidating his foes, though he doesn't like making a mess. And therefore doesn't always agree with Cain's methods. But, he'd lay his life down for Cain. And would make nearly any sacrifice for anyone else in the faction. But mainly Cain and Missy. Not literally, but pretty much. She's hard-working, has a wild imagination, and can make any unusual scenario seem perfectly plausible. She definitely thinks outside of the box for everyone, which actually helps the 'intelligence twins'. She loves her job (keeping all the political and faction relations records as well as finances) and she works part-time for Hiat in his library as well, and has a love for reading. However, she also feels like her job is less important than everyone else's, and so she looks up to Cain and Hiat and the Intelligence Twins. It simply means that Liliana handles the media and legal issues. Politics she tends to leave to Cain, but her intimidating and seductive presence is sometimes required for public political debates as well. It is rumored that she is Cain's permanent lover, and though the two do sleep with each other on occasion, she is far from his lover. They are both far too detached from their emotions for such a commitment. Though she does sometimes get jealous if Cain sleeps with a girl of lower intelligence, she never expresses it. Instead taking it out on the poor girl. She repeatedly warns and discourages Cain from pursing Demetrio's younger sister, feeling it be a big mistake. The members of the faction value his worth, but he really doesn't care about any of them. Except Cain his twin sister. Some whisper that he has homosexual desires for Cain, which isn't far from the truth. He is pansexual, like Cain, and Cain is an attractive man. But there is nothing more than a primal desire there that he has yet to voice. He considered Juan from the Ottaviano his personal rival, and has a special disdain in his heart for the man. He is especially protective of his fellow faction members whenever Juan is in the area, and if the other man's name is even mentioned in a conversation he visibly tenses. The one thing he cares about more in this world than anything else, is his sister. And he would not hesitate to go to any length to make her happy and protect her, even face her own wrath. At times. When on duty, she has a cold calculating attitude. Since her job is mainly to proofread her brother's work, and look at things at different angles than he does, she analyzes every possible scenario carefully. Making her good friends with Missy. She is a girl though, and so she does enjoy some 'girl activities', but mostly she just hangs out with Missy and bounces ideas off of her. She can be manipulative, especially when she's trying to get something she wants from someone. She also has some trust issues, so she is willing to question the loyalties of her faction which her brother cannot. She only fully trusts her brother and Missy (since the girl is really too much of an air-head to be trouble to anyone), and especially doesn't trust Hiat or the boss's adopted 'son'. Its a wonder why Cain even adopted the boy in the first place, but he treats him well regardless. The boy himself never questions it, and instead dedicates his life to paying the man back. At such a young age (seventeen) its hard to believe that he's a hitman. But he would literally kill for Cain, and he does. Otherwise he's a bit of a brat. Constantly teasing people and causing drama, adventurous and rambunctious. He's quite innocent compared to the other members of the faction, and is close friends with Missy. He 'digs' her energy.
