That, by no means, makes 'Blue Eli' docile. She is also wildly unpredictable, and can go from bubbly and happy to very pouty, difficult, and stubborn in the blink of an eye. She is childish[/color] and a bit of a punk[/color], though she is secretly a genius[/color], which shows in dire situations when she uses her creativity to save herself and others. She's actually a bit of a prankster[/color], which can be trouble. Because a bored genius is a very dangerous one, and her traps are very elaborate. While she does understand complicated things, she pretends to be incompetent, so you would only really know if you fought beside her.
As a whole, both personalities are incredibly stubborn and intelligent in their own ways. While 'rEli' is the 'stronger' of the two, she is not the dominant one. Ealisaid is herself most of the time, being 'bEli', although when survival kicks in 'rEli' kicks back.[/blockquote]
appearance
Ealisaid is typically considered to be an attractive woman. She stands at five feet and six inches, which is rather tall for a female but typical considering she isn't human. Her hair is mostly black, but there is a blue streak in her hair on the left side of her face which is completely natural. She has a slender figure, but if you looked closely you would see how toned and strong she is. Her body is very nimble, again a result of her species and environment. Her eyes are two different colors: red and blue. One color does not become more dominant over the other as her personality switches, they remain the same at all times. Her wings are black, and though she could have them out she usually chooses to keep them concealed. She has a tattoo representing her family's tribe on her left arm, and a long, nasty scar going diagonally down her back -- shoulder blade to hip.

Ealisaid is a manakete. She grew up in the Darkling Woods, taught the story of Myrrh and how she and her 'father', the Great Dragon, saved Magvel along with the humans. She grew up in a tribe who, despite these stories, harbored strong feelings against the humans. They did their part, and Eli was taught how to fight and survive in order to do her's, but her tribe interpreted the disappearance of Myrrh as guilt on the new Great Dragon's half. They felt that she vanished because she regretted helping the humans, and though they put everything they have into controlling the monsters in the woods it is mostly for themselves, not the humans.
Despite this, growing up Eli only harbored curiosity towards the humans, much to her family's dismay. It wasn't always that way though, only after she encountered a lost human boy-child in the woods when she was young. She protected the boy, helped him to escape, and then returned home to face the music. Her tribe smelled the boy on her, and almost didn't take her back. She fought her way back into her tribe however, which is where the long scar on her back came from. Her father put it there.
Eli's curiosity rubbed off on her younger sister and closest friend, and three girls formed a little trio. However, only Ealisaid had the courage to actually leave Darkling Woods and their tribe when she was older. She was made an official adult already, the ceremony being held early since she had fought so well to earn her place in her tribe before -- resulting in her father being blind in one eye since she put a scar through it -- which is what her tattoos marked. They were refreshed while everyone else was getting their first, and she left that night. The tattoos were permanent however, and so she hid them as she made her way into human society.
Now, Ealisaid lives in the port town of Carcino, peacefully. People completely unaware of her past, heritage, and bloodline. She fights just as well in her human form as ever, and makes sure that she is tip-top condition. She satisfies her curiosity for life by experience, although she both fears and admires the ocean. Eli hasn't experienced sailing yet, but since she works at the docks (unloading/loading cargo and keeping a checklist of supplies), it is something she wants to experience before she dies.
