Or at least, true friends. There are regulars to her store, and people she grew up knowing who have known her all her life, but whether or not they're 'friends' is difficult for her to say. Since she really doesn't know what to call those people, though they do treat her with their own forms of affection, and her niece as well. Which, to Anahera, is far more important. A friend would be someone who she can tolerate and get along with. Albeit, there are many different forms of friendship that are acceptable. Maybe your like to tease her, and she doesn't try to kill you? That would be a sign that she considers you a friend. She just doesn't do so outwardly. Why? It's something that's too emotional and 'mushy' for her to admit to it. These are much easier for her to make. Because she's brutally honest, and acts before she thinks, there's going to be a population of people who just don't like her. Whether they don't like what she has to say, or she pisses them off by being right. Ana also picks fights, yes fights, with thugs and other bullies. She's perfectly capable of handling herself in hand-to-hand combat and a sword fight, as she is an ex-soldier, so don't let her gender or appearance fool you. There are also business and political enemies. She's bound to have some competition, since she does own a store, and she hates politics and politicians alike. So of course, they wouldn't like her very either. Some people would probably also disagree with how she handles criminals in her store, which is usually by teaching a lesson the hard way. You think she's capable of this? BWAHAHAHA! Technically, because I say so, she is. But on her own, Ana is not capable of recognizing such feelings for someone else. She'd be in constant denial of anything, and if she ever did admit anything she would deny it right away. Still, I'd like for somebody to love her. Especially since it would be absolutely hilarious regardless of the personality of the other person. One possible plot is that the boy is very shy and stutters a lot, and Ana was trying to get him out of his shell and he eventually gains the confidence to admit his feelings for her. Another possibility is the oh-so-popular 'I hate you but now I love you' plot. Maybe this person is arrogant, but whatever their personality is, Ana starts out hating him. Either way, her pet name for the guy would most probably be 'idiot'. If you can think of anything else, please let me know. Don't be afraid! =D. Just keep in mind that she doesn't travel, and never has. While Aroha was brought to her from another town after her parents died. But that's the only rule: Anahera has never traveled before and is not looking to anytime soon. XD.
